Those who do not have an employer will have their information kept at SGS until the Medical certificate is obtained. SGS will bill the applicant individually for his / her card

The entire course is valid for 12 months when a 1 day refresher is required.
If a person has not been working in an Underground Coal Mine environment then a pre course assessment must be completed and 100% achieved.
Failure to achieve 100% may indicate that a complete 4 day Induction training program may need to be undertaken to have the South Coast cards reissued.
