Underground Mines Rescue Team Member 10 Days The aim of this training course is to give the participant the practical skills and information required to operate as an effective team member within an underground mines rescue team. Course content Open and Closed circuit breathing apparatus Gases in underground mines Detection and interpretation of gases Mines rescue equipment Performing team procedures Spontaneous combustion Fire Explosions in underground mines Working in hot environments Life support Customisation of coursesCourses can be customized to suit the needs of customers to ensure the training delivered to participants is relevant to their needs. Availability of course Most courses are scheduled at Hunter Valley Mines Rescue Station on a regular basis, however if a customer wishes to provide a minimum of 8 participants then a course can be conducted at a venue and time to suit. The cost for courses held at the customers site will be by negotiation with the manager.
